Contaminated Wall Cavity

When walls are left for a while with out being treated microbial growth can grow and could present a heath hazard, This wall was contaminated with suspected microbial growth after a water leak was left for some time. WE set up a negative air containment around the affected work area. then we had to remove the carpet and carpet pad from the romm and bag it out ,then had to remove a portion of dry wall and the contaminated insulation behind the wall, then we Cleaned the wall with one of the great products from the SERVPRO cleaning line. and sprayed it with an anti-microbial and growth inhibitor, this room is now free of microbial growth and is ready to be finished out with new dry wall and fresh carpet.
