Wood Floors

Unfortunately damage to wood floors is not reversible. it is important that water is removed from the surface as well as from under the floor with special tools to minimize the damage. This floor had water sitting under that was not specially extracted. This leads to cupping where the edges of the boards swell, sometimes this can be reversible but most of the time at least some if not most of the damage remains. after about 30 days the moisture in the wood and the air comes to an equilibrium and it would be safe to sand the floor and refinish it. this wood floor has been dried down to safe levels and is now ready to be refinished.
